T-Keyah Cunningham

Consultant

T-keyah (TK) Cunningham is a former higher education administrator, who specialized in multiculturalism, and now serves as a DEIB facilitator, strategist, and practitioner. TK is an authentic, innovative, and passionate leader who is dedicated to ensuring equity and inclusion not only exists, but expands within the corporate arena. TK has over five years of experience developing inclusive and equitable strategies. She pursues her goals by delivering content via trainings, facilitations, speaking engagements, and business consultation. With topics ranging from systemic oppression and challenges to self-awareness to challenges of Black women in professional spaces to creating inclusive spaces for those with invisible disabilities, TK is a multifaceted professional dedicated to advancing equity and inclusion in all she does in her career. She has exemplified her expertise in DEIB through her work presented at the Southern Association for College Student Affairs (SACSA) and by leading trainings and facilitations in front of a variety of audiences at a variety of institutions including the University of South Carolina and Louisiana State University. Having a passion for mentorship, TK has also created and implemented mentorship programs designed to engage and retain marginalized populations though increased visibility of other marginalized populations and inclusive policy and procedure updates. 

  

A powerhouse of knowledge, creativity, determination, passion, and the desire to remain a lifelong student, TK will continue to encourage, educate, support, and advocate for positive forward movement for marginalized communities, not only in corporate America, but the nation itself. 

  

T-keyah earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science from Western Carolina University and her Master of Education from the University of South Carolina - Columbia.
