Dr. Alvianna Woodard-Davis

Consultant

Dr. Alvianna Woodard-Davis, an accomplished educator, entrepreneur, author, and leader. She spent 18 years with a Fortune 500 company, holding various leadership positions in finance, business analysis, product development and marketing, strategic planning, and sales training. Her work earned her numerous awards, including the President's Leadership Awards for Product Management and Diversity Champion. In addition to her corporate career, Dr. Woodard-Davis is a real estate broker with businesses in Texas and California. 

 

Dr. Woodard-Davis is a passionate advocate for education, dedicating countless volunteer hours to help young people transition from secondary to post-secondary education. Her passion was ignited while supporting her own children's educational journey, where she noticed a lack of representation for the Black community. This led her to earn a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration - Educational Leadership, which she completed in May 2023. Her goal is to combine her extensive business experience and education to support students of color in achieving their professional and personal aspirations, ultimately helping them become the best versions of themselves for their own benefit, their families, and society as a whole. 

 

Since 2008, she has volunteered with Links Incorporated, providing support to five different facets in the community: Services to Youth, Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. Over the years, she has held various positions, including Vice President of Programs, Vice President of Membership, Treasurer, and Strategic Planning Chair. She has successfully coordinated youth summits to address reading comprehension, financial literacy, STEM, goal setting and college preparation. Currently, she serves as a liaison for ZOE International, an organization that offers a safe haven for girls who have been rescued from human trafficking. Additionally, she participated in Leadership Irving and served as Vice President of the Irving Black Arts Council. 

 

As a devoted educator, Dr. Woodard-Davis presently serves as a teacher in the Moorpark Unified School District, where she ensures that lesson plans are executed and standards are achieved in alignment with the school's mission. Leveraging her skills as an entrepreneur and manager, she has organized workshops on strategic planning, leadership, operational effectiveness, conflict resolution, real estate training, and budgeting and finance. She has a Business Administration degree from Lamar University, an MBA from Amberton University, and completed the Marketing Leadership Certification program at Southern Methodist University. She recently obtained a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration, Education Leadership, combining her two passions of agriculture and education in her dissertation titled "Reviving the Roots: A Phenomenological Study of Black Women in Agriculture and the Impact of Post-Secondary Education." 

 

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Woodard-Davis is a passionate farmer and rancher and the proud mother of two grown-up children. Her daughter Camryn graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2022, while her son William is currently in his Junior Year at Howard University.
